RT9706 为一高性价比、低电压、单 N-MOSFET 的高侧电源开关，适用于自供电 (self-powered) 和总线供电 (bus- powered) 的串行总线 (USB) 应用。RT9706 内含一个电荷泵电路来驱动内部 MOSFET 开关，开关的 80mΩ低导通电组 (RDS(ON)) 符合 USB 的压降要求，且具有一个输出指示信号来表示错误状况给 USB 控制器。其它特点包括插入时的软启动，用来限制涌入电流、过热关断，用来防止开关因高电流负载造成的严重失效、欠压锁定 (UVLO)，确保有有效的输入电压出现前，IC 保持关机。RT9706 提供 SOT-23-5 封装。
