RT9728C 是針對 USB 應用的電流限制閾值可調高側功率開關 IC，內部含有單一的 P 型 MOSFET 功率開關，具有成本低、可低壓工作等特性。其開關導通阻抗僅約 120mΩ（典型值），自身電流消耗僅約 120μA，僅需一隻外接電阻便可對其電流限制閾值在 75mA-1.3A 間進行調節，閾值設置精度可達 ±10%，在故障狀態下可輸出指示信號向系統控制器報警。它內含延遲回應設計，可避免大電流衝擊造成錯誤的操作，是 USB 電源供應系統的理想選擇，同時可以可變的電流限制特性支援各種靈活的應用設計。其封裝形式為 SOT-23-6 和 WDFN-6L 2x2。
