The RT6336 family consists of high-efficiency synchronous buck converters withpseudo constant switching frequency 500kHz, delivering up to 6A output current.The RT6336A/RT6336B and RT6336AH/RT6336BH operate from 4.5V to 23V inputvoltage.The output voltage of the RT6336A/RT6336AH is programmed between 0.6V to 5.5Vand RT6336B/RT6336BH is fixed to 3.3V output voltage.The input voltage of RT6336C/RT6336CH ranges from 5.2V to 23V and the outputvoltage of RT6336C/RT6336CH is fixed to 5.1V.The RT6336 family adopts Advanced Constant On-Time (ACOT®) controlarchitecture that provides ultra-fast transient response and further reduces theexternal component count.In steady states, the ACOT® operates at nearly constant switchingfrequency over line, load, and output voltage ranges and makes the EMI filterdesign easier.By setting the voltage of the EN/MODE pin, the RT6336 family operates either indiode emulation mode (DEM) or ultrasonic mode (USM) at light load.The USM maintains the operation frequency above 25kHz, which eliminates theacoustic noise. In the DEM, the RT6336 family provides the best light-loadefficiency and improves the acoustic noise with a spread spectrum function.The RT6336 family provides a Power-Good indicator for easy system sequencecontrol. Full protection features are also integrated in the device, includingthe cycle-by-cycle current limit, OVP, UVP, input UVLO, and OTP.All above functions are integrated in a UQFN-23L 3x3 (FC) package. Therecommended junction temperature is -40°C to 125°C.
