RT7231/32/33/34 是採用改進型固定導通時間（ACOT®）控制架構的同步 Buck 轉換器，可在 4.5V~18V 輸入電壓範圍內工作，負載能力最高可達 4A，在使用各種陶瓷電容和很寬的負載範圍內都具有很好的瞬態回應特性，即使輸出電容具有很低的 ESR 也能確保穩定。它們在輸入和負載發生變化的條件下也能保持工作頻率的穩定，在整個負載範圍內都能保持高效工作狀態。通過在低側 MOSFET 開關上進行的穀底電流檢測，它們具有精確的逐週期電流限制保護能力，而通過外加的軟啟動時間設置可對啟動期間的輸入電流衝擊進行限制。其他的保護功能還有過熱關機保護、輸出欠壓保護和過壓保護（RT7231/32）。當欠壓保護和過壓保護被觸發時，使用帶有散熱焊盤的 TSSOP-14 封裝的器件將進入鎖定模式，使用 WDFN-10L 3x3 封裝的器件將進入打嗝模式。
RT7231/32 可用帶有散熱焊盤的 TSSOP-14 和 WDFN-10L 3x3 封裝供貨，其中的 RT7231 會以強制連續導通模式工作。
RT7233/34 的封裝形式為帶有散熱焊盤的 SOP-8，其中的 RT7233 會以強制連續導通模式工作。
