RT4822 是将功率开关、同步续流开关等全部集成了的带有旁通功能的同步 Boost 转换器,可在锂离子电池供电的系统中使用以确保电池电压低于系统需求时仍能将电池剩余电量提取出来供系统使用,达成尽量延长电池使用时间的目的。它在 Boost 模式下的最大供电能力可达 1500mA,关机模式下的电流消耗低于 1μA,旁通模式与 Boost 模式之间的切换顺滑流畅,强制其进入旁通模式可降低其静态电流消耗。其封装形式为 WL-CSP-9B 1.3x1.2 (BSC)。
