RT8845A是針對高性能影像處理器和電腦應用進行了優化處理的4/3/2/1相同步Buck PWM控制器，採用了立錡特有的基於有限直流增益誤差放大器的電流模式控制技術的G-NAVPTM (Green Native AVP) 控制架構，工作頻率可隨VID輸入、負載和輸入電壓而變，即使在CCM模式下工作也可有效提升轉換效率，並另有與G-NAVPTM架構結合在一起的CCRCOT (Constant Current Ripple COT，固定電流紋波COT) 技術可在整個輸入、輸出範圍內提供超低的輸出電壓紋波水準。此外，它還具有完善的故障保護功能，如過壓保護、負壓保護、過流保護和欠壓鎖定保護。RT8845A的封裝形式為WQFN-40L 5x5。
RT8845A採用外部輸入參考電壓和PWM-VID動態輸出電壓控制技術，其回饋電壓總是被調節至與其外部參考輸入相等的水準，它還具有工作頻率可調、相數動態可控、內/外軟起動控制、Power Good指示、使能控制等功能。
