RT8130A 是 5V/12V 供電的單相同步 Buck 控制器，採用 Green Voltage Mode(GVM™)控制架構，可在輕載條件下自動進入二極體模擬模式，並以固定導通時間的 PFM 模式降低開關切換頻率，從而達成提升轉換效率的效果。當負載電流增加以後，即退出二極體模擬模式而進入固定頻率的 PWM 模式而工作在連續導通狀態。
其集成化的 MOSFET 驅動器具有高驅動能力，支援高達 12V 的驅動以滿足大電流應用的需要。它採用無損耗的下橋 MOSFET RDS(ON) 電流檢測技術實現過流保護，其保護閾值可通過 LGATE 引腳進行設定（LGOCS）。此外，它還具有 Power Good 指示、使能/禁止控制和內部的軟啟動設計，具有完整的保護功能對功率級進行保護，是具有極高性價比的高效電源轉換器件，其封裝為 WDFN-10L 3x3。
