RT8241D為提供高效率、優越的暫態回應與高直流輸出穩定度的降壓型PWM 控制器，適用於電池降壓供電予筆記型電腦內部具有低壓電源需求的CPU核心、I/O與RAM晶片等應用。 RT8241D 支援晶片電壓可程式設計功能，可透過GX數位輸入編成電壓範圍0.675V 至0.9V。PWM的固定導通時間架構可允許較廣的輸入/輸出電壓比，並可在固定的切換頻率下提供100ns "instant-on" 的負載回應特性。RT8241D具備高效率並可不必裝設以往傳統PWM電流模式所必要的電流感測電組以達到低電路設計成本的優勢，並可藉由驅動同步整流MOSFET並進入二極體仿效模式以達到輕載狀態的高效率表現。其降壓轉換特性允許裝置電池達到最高效率的條件下進行高低壓轉換。RT8241D 為專用於CPU核心、DRAM或其他需要低於0.675V的應用設計。RT8241D 支持 WQFN-12L 2x2 的封裝。
