RT1718 是集成度很高的 TCPC 控制器，内含符合 IEC-61000-4-2 标准的 ESD 防护单元对 CC/SBU/DP/DM 进行保护。它还集成了可对 SBU1/SBU2/DP/DM 进行过压保护的开关以避免与临近的 VBUS 接触时可能存在的高压所带来的伤害，过压保护能力达 24V，使 DP/DM 可以使用在需要支持高压的 DCP 端口以实施快充协议。</br>RT1718 带有 GPIO 端子，可对外接 P-MOSFET 进行控制以实现用电端和供电端的 VBUS 路径控制，亦可通过内部集成的电荷泵驱动外接 N-MOSFET 实现同一功能，也可将其配置为 USB3.0 接口所需要的 DP Mux 控制信号以支持替换模式的启用。</br>RT1718 为 VCONN 开关配备了过压保护、过流保护、RVP 和欠压保护。RPD_CC1/CC2 是电池失效模式电阻 Rd 引脚，它们独立于 CC1/CC2，可满足不同用户对系统灵活性的需求。</br>RT1718 以 WQFN-32L 4x4 封装供货。
