RT2808是一款电流模式异步降压转换器，可在宽输入电压范围5.5V至36V实现优异的负载调整率和电源调整率，且可支持达3A的输出电流。电流模式操作能提供快速瞬态响应，也较易达到回路稳定。可调整的软启动降低启动时输入源上的应力。在电源关闭模式下，调节器仅消耗25μA的供应电流。RT2808只需要最少的、方便可取得的、外部元件，可提供一个体积小的解决方案。RT2808提供了保护功能，包括输入欠压锁定 (UVLO)，逐周期电流限制 (cycle-by-cycle current limit)，短路保护 (short circuit protection) 和过热保护 (thermal shutdown protection)。RT2808采用SOP-8（裸露焊盘）封装。
