RT3609是根据Intel IMVP8兼容CPU的需求设计的含有串行VID控制接口的电源管理器件，其中包含两个电压轨控制器，一个是名为CORE VR的6/5/4/3相同步Buck控制器，一个是名为AXG VR的2/1相同步Buck控制器。它采用立錡专有的基于有限直流增益误差放大器的电流模式控制架构的G-NAVP™(Green Native AVP)控制技术，非常容易设定输出电压随载下降参数以满足Intel CPU对AVP（Adaptive Voltage Positioning，自适应电压定位）的 需求，具有全新的AQR（Adaptive Quick Response，自适应快速响应）机制去优化输出电容很少的条件下的负载瞬变期间的AVP性能。它支持不同运行状态下的模式变换功能，有内含的串行VID接口与Intel IMVP8兼容CPU进行通讯，可以以快速、慢速和自然变化三种速度支持VID在运行中的改变功能，即使在CCM模式下的工作频率也可根据VID、负载和输入电压的不同而自动调节以优化转换效率。它将CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple COT，固定电流纹波COT）技术与G-NAVP™技术结合，在整个输入、输出范围内都能提供极佳的输出电压纹波表现。它内置高精度D/A转换器，可将串行输入的VID编码以5mV的级差变换为0V~1.52V的输出电压，还有高精度的A/D转换器可进行ICCMAX、工作频率、过流保护阈值和AQR触发阈值等基础参数和功能的设定。它还提供VR Ready和过热指示信号，具有完整的故障保护功能如过压保护、欠压保护、过流保护和欠压锁定保护等等。它支持通过I<SUP>2</SUP>C接口进行热平衡调节、动态负载线、电压偏置参数、固定VID参数、保护上报、关闭保护和电流、PSYS、温度上报等多种功能的设定。
