RT3638 是一款符合 IMVP9.2 规范的 CPU 电源控制器，包含三组电压轨：用于 VCCCORE VR 的 8 相同步降压控制器、用于 VCCGT VR 的单相同步降压控制器，以及用于 VCCSA VR 的单相同步降压控制器。每组电压轨的输出皆可配置为支持所需的相位分配，最高为 VCCCORE 8 相、VCCGT 单相及 VCCSA 单相。例如，RT3638 支持 8+1+1、7+1+1 及 6+1+1 等输出操作。RT3638 支持 Smart Phase Management（SPM）功能，以在所有负载范围内达到最高效率。自动加相或减相的阈值可通过 I<sup>2</sup>C 协议接口由用户设置。RT3638 采用 G-NAVP<sup>TM</sup>（Green Native AVP），这是 Richtek 专有的拓扑架构，由具有限 DC 增益的 EA 放大器结合电流模式控制所衍生。此拓扑可简化 droop 设置，以满足所有 Intel CPU 对 AVP（Adaptive Voltage Positioning）的要求。基于 G-NAVP<sup>TM</sup> 拓扑，RT3638 具备新一代快速响应机制（Adaptive Quick Response, AQR），可在负载瞬态期间优化 AVP 性能并减少输出电容。RT3638 支持具有多种工作状态的模式转换功能。内置串行 VID（SVID）接口，可与符合 Intel IMVP9.2 规范的 CPU 通信。RT3638 提供内置非易失性存储器（NVM），用于平台设置功能，例如 ICCMAX、开关频率或 AQR 触发电平。RT3638 提供 VR ready 输出信号。它还具备完整的故障保护功能，包括过电压（OV）、过电流（OC）、欠电压（UV）及欠电压锁定（UVLO）。RT3638 采用 WQFN-68L 8x8 封装。建议结温范围为 −40°C 至 125°C。
