RT4501 是用于背光应用的高效率 LED 驱动器，它采用集成了肖特基二极管的异步 Boost 转换器和电流源驱动器，可在 2.5V~5.5V 的输入电压范围内支持每通道6只 LED 的应用。一个可工作在快速模式和高速模式的 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口可支持其实现对背光的控制，它可以线性映像的方式实现256级亮度调节。同时，它也支持采用 PWM 信号进行亮度调节。在亮度调节方法上，RT4501 支持以脉冲方式实现128级亮度调节，RT4501则支持以 PWM 调光方式进行256级亮度调节。RT4501 具有完善的保护功能，如输入欠压锁定保护、过流、过压保护和过热保护。过压保护的阈值电压可根据不同应用的需要选择为 16V 或 25.5V 。它的封装是 WL-CSP-10B 0.87x2.07。
