RT6154 是高效率的单电感 Buck-Boost 转换器，可在电池之类的宽输入电压范围内工作，解决输入电压可能高于、也可能低于输出电压的问题，电流输出能力可达 4A，开关电流峰值限制典型值在V<sub>IN</sub> = 3.6V时达到 5A，V<sub>IN</sub> = 2.1V时达到 2.6A。</br>无论处于 Buck 模式或 Boost 模式，其回授回路的补偿都在内部予以实现；两个模式之间的转换是平顺无冲击的；其瞬态响应特性是经过优化的。它以 2.4MHz 工作频率进行全同步的操作，仅在低功率输出时才进入 PSM 模式以提高效率，但这是可以被禁止的。它也可以被强制地与外部时钟进行同步操作，该同步信号的频率可在 2.2MHz~2.6MHz 之间。RT6154 的输出电压可用外部电阻分压器进行设定，但 RT6154 的输出电压就是内部固定的，其值为 3.3V 。
