RT6158 是高效率的单电感 Buck-Boost 转换器，可在输入电压范围为 2.5V-5V 的高于或低于输出电压的条件下工作，负载能力可达 3A。其功率开关最大峰值电流限制值为 6.5A (典型值)，内部反馈电路对 Buck、Boost 运作模式均提供补偿，两种模式之间的切换平滑无缝，具有最优的瞬态响应特性。</br>在低功率应用中，RT6158 以脉冲频率调制 (PFM) 模式工作以提高效率，此模式可被禁用以强制其在 2MHz 的固定开关频率运行。可用 2.2MHz-2.6MHz 的外部时钟信号强迫它同步运行。其输出电压可用电阻分压器进行设定，设定范围为 2.1V-5.2V。
