RT7755系列产品是工作于连续导通模式的 PWM 控制器，可与类似于 RT7206 的控制器一起构成完整的 USB PD 电源或其他可编程电源适配器。它具有高效率的控制架构，5V 待机输出条件下的功率消耗可低于 50mW。它采用了许多全新的设计来保证其具有宽阔的输出电压范围，这其中便包括（1）可通过 DMAG 引脚感知输出电压并据此调节回路增益以实现系统稳定，自动调节输出过压保护阈值以实现对外围器件的保护，自动调节电流限制阈值以满足功率有限电源的安全需求；（2）使用包含输入大电容 Brown-in/Brown-out 保护、VDD 过压保护、输出过压/欠压保护、次级整流器短路保护和外围元件过热保护等在内的完备的保护措施；（3）在恒定输出功率调节的应用中，通过连接在 CS 引脚的电阻实现在全输入电压范围内的精确补偿；（4）通过众多不同的功能设计实现对次级侧元件如 RT7206 或分流式调节器失效情形下的保护 。<BR>在实际的应用中，建议将 RT7755 与次级侧控制器 RT7206 一起使用以获得足够强壮又安全的设计以应对由于不同设备、电缆、插头座等的错误连接而可能带来的风险。
