RT7758 系列是一款可在连续导通模式（CCM, Continuous Conduction Mode）或准谐振模式（QR Mode, Quasi-Resonant Mode）下工作的控制器，专为搭配 RT7216KNE 等控制器而设计，可提供完整的 USB Power Delivery（USB PD）或可编程电源适配器（Programmable Power Adapter）解决方案。RT7758 不仅具备高效率电源控制架构，还可在 5V 待机条件下将待机功耗降低至 50mW，以满足低待机功耗设计需求。 RT7758 采用多项创新技术以支持宽范围输出电压应用。通过 DMAG 引脚检测输出电压，可调节控制环路增益以保持系统稳定性，同时调整输出过压保护（OVP）阈值以保护外部设备，并调节电流限制以满足限制功率源（LPS, Limited Power Source）安全规范要求。 此外，RT7758 内置完善的保护功能，包括大电容输入欠压启动/关断保护（Bulk-Capacitor Brown-In/Brown-Out Protection）、VDD 过压保护（VDD OVP）、输出过压/欠压保护（Output OVP/UVP）、次级整流器短路保护（SRSP, Secondary Rectifier Short-Circuit Protection）以及外部过温保护（External OTP），以提高系统安全性与可靠性。 在恒功率输出应用中，可通过在 CS 引脚外接电阻，实现全输入电压范围内的精准线性补偿（Line Compensation）。RT7758 还提供多项保护机制，以防止 RT7216KNE 或分流稳压器等次级侧器件发生故障时对系统造成影响。 在实际应用中，建议 RT7758 搭配 RT7216KNE 次级控制器使用，以实现稳健且安全的电源设计，并有效避免由于不同设备、线缆、插头或插座错误连接而导致的潜在故障情况。 建议结温范围为 -40°C 至 125°C，环境温度范围为 -40°C 至 85°C。
