RT8243 是两路降压的开关模式电源供应控制器，用于在电池供电的系统中完成逻辑系统的电源供应。它包含了两组输出电压在 2V~5V 范围内可调的 PWM 控制器和两组固定输出（5V/3.3V）的线性稳压器，其中一组电路（LDO5）的输入具有自动切换到 BYP1 输入以连接到主电源 SMPS1 输出以获取最高效率的功能。可选的外部电荷泵电路的输出电压可通过 SECFB 端子进行监控（仅 RT8243 可用）。此外，板上电源上电时序控制、Power Good 输出、内置软启动、预防负电压出现的关机期间软放电功能等特性也被集成在该芯片中。无需使用电流检测电阻的固定导通时间 PWM 控制架构可在维持基本恒定的工作频率情况下确保快速的瞬态响应能力。为消除应用中的音频噪声，设计中包含了超声工作模式，它可维持 25kHz 以上的工作频率。在轻载模式下，有二极管仿真模式可使效率最大化。SMPS1/SMPS2 的开关切换频率可在 200kHz/233kHz~400kHz/466kHz 之间分别进行调节。RT8243 的封装是 WQFN-20L 3x3，可在 -40°C ~ 85°C 的扩展温度范围内工作。
