RT8420是一款高效率的电流连续模式电感降压转换器，被设计用于从比LED串电压高的电压源对单只或多只串联连接的LED进行驱动，其工作电压范围是7V-50V，采用滞回式控制方式，使用高端电流检测电阻对流过LED的电流进行参数设定。<BR>RT8420采用功率开关在低端、输出电流检测在高端的电路结构，只需一只外接电阻即可对需要的平均输出电流进行设定。LED的亮度可通过模拟调光信号进行控制，当亮度百分比较低时，最高开关工作频率会受到限制。<BR>RT8420采用具有外露散热焊盘的MSOP-8和PSOP-8封装，具有很好的散热能力。
