RT8464 是一款隔离式次级侧 6 通道 LED 驱动器，可为各 LED 灯串提供高度匹配的 LED 驱动电流。内置光耦驱动器，可配合变压器初级侧控制电路调节 LED 电流。LED 电流通过高增益放大器进行线性控制，并通过驱动光耦器件控制初级侧，因此无需传统次级侧 DC/DC PWM 转换级。RT8464 会自动选择并调节电压最高的 LED 灯串，因此允许不同 LED 灯串之间存在电压差异。在运行过程中，器件能够自动检测并断开未连接或损坏的 LED 灯串，使其不再参与 PWM 控制环路，从而避免输出电压 VOUT 发生过压情况。各通道的 LED 电流均可通过对应通道上的外接电阻轻松设定。RT8464 提供三种便捷的调光方式：其一为模拟调光，可通过外部电压线性控制亮度；其二为真正的数字 PWM 调光，通过控制 LED 电流占空比实现亮度调节；其三可利用 ACTL 引脚搭配外接电容形成低通滤波器，将 PWM 调光信号转换为低噪声模拟调光信号。其他保护功能包括输出过压保护和过温关断保护。RT8464 采用 SOP-28 封装。
