RT8848 是使用 PWM-VID 接口、符合 nVidia OVR4i+ 规范、可工作于 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 相的多相同步 Buck 控制器，可使高性能图像处理器发挥出其最好的性能。它采用立錡独有的以有限直流增益误差放大器为基础的电流控制模式的 AC G-NAVP™ 控制架构 ，其工作频率即使在电流连续模式下亦可随 VID、负载和输入电压的变化而自动变化以实现转换效率的最优化，既支持通过 DCR 网络实现对电感电流的检测，也接受直接来自智能功率级的电流监测信号。</br>RT8848 可接受外部参考输入和 PWM-VID 动态输出电压的控制，其输出电压将自动稳定并自动跟踪外部参考电压的变化。通过 PINSETx 即可设定 RT8848 内部 RAMP 信号的幅度，这能优化其稳定性和负载瞬变响应的性能。RT8848 具有包括过压保护、欠压保护、通道过流限制、总输出电流限制和过热保护等在内的故障保护功能。建议结面温度范围为 -40°C 至 125°
