RT8877是4+2相PWM控制器，符合AMD SVI2电压调节器规范，支持同时为CPU内核 (VDD) 和CPU的北桥部分 (VDDNB) 供电，它采用立锜专有的G-NAVP (Green-Native AVP) CCRCOT (Constant Current Ripple Constant On-Time) 技术，易于配置设定，完全符合AMD AVP (Active Voltage Positioning) VDD/VDDNB的要求。其压降特性可通过对误差放大器直流增益的调整进行设置，符合AVP 性能需要的瞬态响应特性也可以通过适当的补偿获得。该控制器可通过接口发送VOTF完成信息，可将VDD和VDDNB的电压、电流编码信息发送给CPU。它可以单相和二极管仿真模式工作，在不同负载条件下金额可获得高达90%的效率。通过对端子的设定，RT8877可针对特定的目的实现偏移量的控制。它还同时具有Power Good指示、过流指示和双重的过流保护机制，具有过压保护、欠压保护和负压保护等功能。
