RT9198 专为便携式射频（RF）及无线通信应用而设计，可满足高性能及高空间利用率需求。其性能经过优化，可在电池供电系统中提供超低噪声及低静态电流表现。在低压差（Dropout）状态下，稳压器接地电流仅会轻微增加，有助于进一步延长电池使用寿命。 RT9198 支持低 ESR 陶瓷电容，可有效降低电源电路所需的 PCB 空间，特别适用于手持式无线设备。在关断模式（Shutdown Mode）下，其静态电流低于 0.01μA，且启动时间小于 50μs，可提供快速响应能力。 RT9198 具备短路热折返保护（Short-Circuit Thermal Foldback Protection）机制。当输出短路发生（VOUT < 0.4V）时，过温保护触发点（OTP Trip Point）会由 165°C 降低至 110°C，以提供更高等级的使用安全性。 其他特性包括超低压差电压、高输出电压精度、过电流保护以及高电源纹波抑制比（PSRR）。 RT9198 提供 SOT-23-3、SOT-23-5 及 SC-70-5 封装选项，并提供 1.5V 至 3.5V 的固定输出电压版本，输出电压以 0.1V 为间隔选择。
