RT9396 是用于手机背光和摄像头应用的电源管理IC，其中含有6通道的电荷泵型 LED 驱动器和4个低压差线性稳压器。由电荷泵驱动的多达6只 LED 经过恒流源的调节可得到一致的电流，每只 LED 的电流最大可达 25mA 。这6只 LED 可被变成分为 4+2的组合或是5+1的组合，它们可被分别设定不同的电流以满足不同应用的需要。RT9396 通过使用 x1/x1.5/x2等不同的电荷泵工作模式和低压差电流调节器维持其驱动 LED 的高效率，一个内置的6位 DAC 转换器被用来对背光亮度进行控制，用户可以很容易地通过 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口对 LED 电流进行控制已取得这一效果，其分辨级数可达64级。RT9396 还包含了4个低噪声、低压差的线性稳压器，每个稳压器的输出电流能力为 200mA，它们的输出电压误差范围在3%以内，200mA负载时的最小压降可达 200mV ，用户可通过 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口对稳压器的输出电压进行设定。这些稳压器也提供电流限制和过热保护功能。RT9396 的可用封装是 WQFN-24L 3x3 。
