RT9531 是一款 PWM 开关式电池充电控制器，可用于单节或多节锂离子电池、镍氢电池及镍镉电池的快速充电应用，支持恒流及恒压充电模式。最大充电电流可通过外接电阻轻松设定，而恒压输出模式可支持最多四节锂离子电池充电，电压精度可达 ±0.5%。 RT9531 内置第三组控制环路，可限制充电期间从电源适配器汲取的输入电流。该功能可让系统设备在正常运行的同时进行电池快速充电，而不会导致适配器过载，提高整体系统的使用灵活性。 RT9531 可为电压范围介于 2.5V 至 4.2V 的电池进行充电，且压差电压最低仅需 0.4V。由于充电器在外部适配器拔除后会自动进入仅 10μA 的休眠模式，因此无需在电池串联防反灌二极管，可减少外围元件数量并提高效率。 当充电电流下降至设定快速充电电流的 20% 时，RT9531 会通过逻辑输出信号指示锂离子电池已充满，便于系统进行充电状态监控与管理。
