RT9619 是高频、双 MOSFET 驱动器，设计用于在同步 Buck 转换器拓扑中完成两只功率 MOSFET 的驱动，当它与立锜科技的任意一款多相式 Buck PWM 控制器结合在一起时，即可完成为先进的微处理器提供内核电源的任务。RT9619 使用 12V 电压在同步整流桥中完成上下桥的门极驱动，这样的驱动电压提供优化的应用特性，尤其是可在开关损耗和导通损耗上取得很好的平衡。RT9619 具有较长的 UGATE/LGATE 死区时间，容许其驱动栅极 RC 值较大的 MOSFET，避免发生上下桥贯通现象。RT9619 的目标则是驱动栅极 RC 值较小的 MOSFET，以期获得比较好的转换效率。RT9619 的输出驱动器可以高达 500kHz 的频率高效地驱动功率 MOSFET。当切换频率高于 500kHz 时，封装的热耗散能力就必须被纳入考虑范畴。RT9619 具备以 30ns 的上升时间驱动 3nF 负载的能力。它的上桥驱动自举电路由一只外部电容和内置的二极管构成，降低了使用上的复杂性，容许使用性能较高、成本较低的 N-MOSFET。自适应的上下桥贯通保护设计也被集成在其中，这可避免两只 MOSFET 同时进入导通状态。
