RTQ4550 是一款 6 通道 LED 驱动器，配备一个 DC-DC 控制器，每个通道可提供 200mA。其电流模式（current-mode）开关 DC-DC 控制器支持升压（boost）或 SEPIC 拓扑，工作频率范围为 300kHz 至 2.2MHz。该器件可接受 3V 至 40V 的宽输入电压范围，并可承受汽车冷车启动（cold crank）与负载突降（load dump）事件。内部电流下拉（current sink）支持最高 3.5% 的电流精度与通道间失配控制，以确保每串 LED 具有优异的亮度一致性。RTQ4550 在运行期间会自动检测并将未连接和/或断线的 LED 串从控制环路中断开，以防止 VLED 过压。为提供电流下拉工作所需的足够裕量（headroom），升压控制器会监测 LEDx 引脚的最低电压，并调节优化的输出电压以提升功率效率。RTQ4550 具有标准 I<sup>2</sup>C 数字接口，用于功能设定。此外，升压开关频率与 PWMO 频率可通过外部电阻或 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口进行编程设置。完整的诊断信息也可通过 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口获取；当出现异常情况时，器件会向系统发送状态信号。RTQ4550 提供 38 引脚 VDFN 封装，工作温度范围为 −40°C 至 125°C。
