RT1711P是USB-C型介面及电力传输 (PD) 控制器，符合最新的USB Type-C介面和PD协定的标准。它整合了完整的Type-C收发器，含有Type-C终端电阻Rp和Rd，具备USB-C型埠检测能力，可进行插拔检测和方向判断。它整合了USB PD协定BMC编解码实体层，使采用它的埠可有高达100W功率传输的能力和进行供需角色互换的能力，支援进入USB-C型介面标准所定义的Alternate Modes，相容其它应用类型。它提供了完整的电源管理解决方案，含有可控的插座供电路径和VBUS路径管理措施对系统充电进行管理。当作为电源供应端出现在系统中时，它提供了平滑的电压变化过程，避免出现USB PD供电合约执行过程中的电压变化过程不连续问题。
