RT1738C 是针对 USB-C 型介面应用的过压保护 IC，可为临近VBUS 的 CC、SBU 引脚提供高达 28V 的保护能力，它们因 USB PD 协议容许传输 3.3V~21V 电压而面临风险。</br>RT1738C 也集成了符合 IEC61000-4-2 所定规格的 ESD 保护能力，使 CON_CC1/CON_CC2 和 CON_SBU1/CON_SBU2 可分别承受 ±8kV 和 ±6kV 的接触静电释放。此外，其极快的过压保护回应速度亦可为系统侧的各种电路带来不受高压损害的保护。
