RT1988 提供理想二极体（Ideal Diode）反向电流阻断功能，具有低正向压降特性，并提供使能（Enable）控制输入以实现负载断开功能。其输入工作电压范围为 3.4V 至 53V，连续输出电流能力可达 8A，非常适合多埠 USB Type-C Sink 电流应用。此外，RT1988 具备 60V 绝对最大额定电压（AMR）、20A 峰值电流能力（最长可达 10ms），以及欠压锁定（UVLO）、过压保护（OVP）与过温保护（OTP）等保护功能。 可调式软启动电路可设定输出电压上升速率，并有效管理高电容负载的涌入电流。在软启动期间，元件同时提供短路保护功能；内建 MOSFET 则具备低正向压降与高安全操作区域（SOA）特性，可提升系统可靠度。 RT1988 采用 VDFN-20TL（5.2mm × 4mm）封装，接面温度工作范围为 -40°C 至 125°C。
