RT3601EA是内建驱动器的IMVP8相容CPU电源PWM控制器，采用立锜专有的、以有限直流增益误差放大器为基础的电流模式的G-NAVP™ (Green-Native AVP) 控制技术，具有易于设定输出电压随载下降参数以满足 Intel CPU对动态电压定位（Active Voltage Positioning, AVP）的需求。由于采用G-NAVP™控制技术，RT3601EA在负载发生瞬态变化时具有快速回应机制以优化AVP性能。它在各种不同的运行状态下都具有支援模式转换的能力，内建的串列通讯介面可与使用Intel IMVP8介面的CPU进行通讯，可以快、慢和自然变化三种不同的速度支援VID的即时变化。即使工作于电流连续模式之下，其工作频率也可根据VID、负载和输入电压的不同而自然变化以使其转换效率最大化。它在整个输入、输出范围内的输出电压纹波因使用CCRCOT（Constant Current Ripple COT, 固定电流纹波COT）技术而有卓越的表现，其内建的高精度DAC可将其收到的VID编码转换为0.25V~1.52V的输出电压，级差仅为5mV;而内建的高精度ADC则用于完成各种平台功能的设定。它提供了VR Ready输出信号，具有过压保护、负压保护、过流保护和欠压锁定保护等各种保护功能，以WQFN-28L 4x4封装形式出货。
