RT4813能让电子系统充分发挥新型化学电池的优势，它在电池电压低于系统电源 IC 需要的电压时还能供足够的能量供其使用。它内含功率电晶体、同步整流器，电流消耗低，为使用锂离子电池供电的系统提供了一个结构紧凑的解决方案。</br>即使电池电压已经低于系统要求的最低电压，RT4813内含的Boost转换器也能提供足够的电压供系统使用。在升压模式下，其输出电压精度在最大3.1A负载下也能得到保证。在关机模式下，它的电流消耗低于2μA，可使电池寿命得到最大化延长。
