RT5002C 是为数位相机和其它掌上型设备供电的完整电源配置，其中包含了7+1个通道的 DC/DC 功率转换单元、一个单节锂离子电池充电管理单元和一个 I<sup>2</sup>C 控制介面。</br>功率转换单元部分由下列元件构成：为 DSP 内核、I/O 介面、马达和记忆体部分供电的一路同步升压转换器和三路同步降压转换器；为 CCD ±偏压 供电的一路高压同步升压转换器和一路非同步反相转换器；一个可工作在同步升压架构或电流源架构的 WLED 驱动器和一个为 RTC 应用供电的低耗电、低压差线性稳压器。所有转换器都内部集成了频率补偿电路和功率 MOSFET，各种保护功能也包含其中，例如过流保护、热关机保护、过压保护、超载保护和欠压保护等一应具全。</br>电池充电单元中包含了自动路径管理（ APPM ）功能，并且无需使用外部 MOSFET 。当外部电源被移除时，充电单元进入睡眠模式以节省消耗。充电任务的完成基于经过优化的控制策略进行充电速率的调整，其中包含了预充模式、快充模式和恒压模式。充电电流可由一只外部电阻进行设定，并可经由 I<sup>2</sup>C 控制介面进行调节。充电电压也可经由 I<sup>2</sup>C 控制介面根据不同的电池温度情况进行调整。IC 内部的热回馈电路通过对充电速率的调整实现对内核温度的调节以适应各种不同的环境温度情况。充电任务的结束总是以恒压模式下充电电流下降至 10% x I<sub>CHG_FAST</sub> 为准。充电单元还包含根据输入 V<sub>IN</sub> 电压状况进行欠压保护和过压保护的能力。
