RT6179 是针对 USB PD 应用设计的 4 开关 Buck-Boost 控制器，可在 4.5V-36V 输入电压范围内工作，输出电压可程式控制范围为 3V-36V。它采用峰值电流模式控制架构，输出可设定为恒流和恒压模式以支援 USB PD3.0 SPR 工作模式和 28V 的 PD3.1 EPR 工作模式。它拥有 I<sup>2</sup>C 控制介面，通过它可对输出电压、电流、工作频率、电缆压降补偿等参数进行设定，它也拥有输入欠压闭锁保护、过压、欠压保护、逐周期电流限制保护、短路保护、过热保护等完善的保护性设计，其封装形式为 WQFN-40L 5x5。
