RT6253A/B 是输入电压范围为 4.5V~17V、负载能力为 3A、简单易用的同步 Buck 转换器，内含高精度参考电压源和低 R<SUB>DS(ON)</SUB> MOSFET 功率开关，具有极高的转换效率。<BR>RT6253A/B 采用 ACOT<SUP>®</SUP> 改进型固定导通时间控制架构，具有瞬态回应速度快、周边元件少、工作频率在整个输入、输出范围内基本保持恒定等特性。轻载条件下，RT6253A 自动运行于 PSM 模式以维持其高转换效率，RT6253B 则工作于强制 PWM 模式以满足高输出电压调整精度的需求。<BR>RT6253A/B 通过对上下桥通过电流的检测实现强劲的过流保护，逐周期进行的电流限制可避免出现输出端短路、过流和电感饱和等情况可能导致的致命危险，内建的软启动功能可消除启动期间的电流冲击，它还具有输入欠压保护、输出欠压保护和过热保护等功能，在各种工作条件下均可安全稳定地运行。
