RT7753GCS系列产品的设计目标是与RT7202这样的控制器配合以提供一个使用USB电源传输（USB PD）协定的或可程式设计的电源适配器，它具备高效电源的控制架构，同时具有极低的待机消耗，5V输出的待机功耗低于50mW。<Br>RT7753GCS使用了许多全新的技术来确保获得宽范围的输出电压，如（1）通过使用DMAG引脚对输出电压进行检测并调节系统的回路增益，改变不同输出电压下的过压保护阈值以实现对外部设备的保护，并且调节电流限制阈值以符合功率有限电源的安全需求；（2）具备广泛的保护特性，其中包括大电容Brown-in/Brown-out保护、VDD过压保护（VDD OVP）、输出过压、欠压保护（Output OVP/UVP）、次级整流器短路保护（SRSP）和外部温度过高保护（External OVP）；（3）为实现恒定输出功率调节而在CS引脚连接一只电阻，可在全输入电压范围内获得精确的线路补偿；（4）具备多种保护特性以应对次级元件如RT7202、分流式调节器等的失效。<Br>在实际的应用中，建议将RT7753GCS与次级控制器RT7202共同使用以构成可靠、强壮又安全的设计，以便能面对诸如设备、电缆、插头、插座等各种可能的错误连接状况。
