RT8004 是一款高效率同步降压 DC/DC 转换器。其输入电压范围为 2.65V 至 5.5V，输出电压可于 0.8V 至 5V 范围内调整，并可提供最高 3A 的输出电流。 内建导通电阻仅 75mΩ 的功率开关，可有效提高转换效率，并省去外部萧特基二极体（Schottky Diode）的需求。开关频率可透过外接电阻设定，或与外部时脉讯号同步。100% 占空比设计可实现低压差（Low Dropout）运作模式，有助于延长可携式设备的电池使用时间。外部补偿设计则可让系统在不同负载条件及输出电容配置下，获得最佳化的暂态响应性能。 RT8004 采用强制连续导通模式（Forced Continuous Mode）运作，可有效降低杂讯与射频干扰（RF Interference）。此外，在低压差运作模式下支援 100% 占空比，更进一步提升电池使用效率与续航时间。
