RT8023包含两组低压差线性稳压器(LDO)与一组输入电压范围2.6V至5.5V的降压型DC/DC转换器，可调输出电压值0.8V至 5V。每组稳压器具备独立的致能(EN)与电源良好信号指示(PGOOD)脚位，可简易的控制各组稳压器的启动顺序。每组LDO有独立的电源输入并在低压差输出时可提供最大700mA(LDO1) 与350mA(LDO2)的电流输出，并具备良好的电源抑制比(PSRR)，可使用低ESR的小型陶瓷电容进行节省电路面积的设计。所有上述优点使RT8023适用于高度要求电路特性与空间尺寸的RF与无线应用的可携式装置设计中。其它特色包括具备高输出准确率、过电流保护与40μs的快速导通时间。采用PWM电流模式控制的降压型转换器，操作频率1.2MHz。由于操作在高切换频率，故可适用于采用价格较低廉、较小尺寸的电容与电感元件的应用电路设计中。内建低导通阻的功率开关，增进了整体效率并减少了需要外加萧特基二极体的必要性，借由近100%责任周期的操作提供了低压差转换的应用可有效延长掌上型装置的电池使用寿命。
