RT8057 为高效率的脉波宽度调变(PWM)降压型DC/DC转换器，于输入范围2.7V 至5.5V时，输出电流可达1A。RT8057适用于由单一锂电池供电的可携式电子装置，例如行动电话、PDA、掌上型装置、游戏机与相关配件。内部的低R<sub>DS(ON)</sub>同步整流元件降低了操作在PWM模式的的导通损耗，且不需外加萧特基二极体于实际设计中。RT8057当PWM操作时若无法连续导通上端P-MOSFET时，则进入低压降模式。当EN脚位为低电位时，进入关机模式，消耗电流小于1μA。由于操作在固定频率2.25MHz，由开关切换产生的电压涟波成分可轻易地由小型封装的滤波元件滤除。RT8057采用WDFN-6SL 2x2的封装规格。
