RT8092是一款有I<sup>2</sup>C控制介面的峰电流模式脉波宽度调变(PWM)同步降压型 DC/DC 转换器。输入范围2.5V 至5.5V时，输出电流可达4A。RT8092适用于由单一锂电池供电的可携式电子装置，例如行动电话、PDA与掌上型装置。<br>具有低R<sub>DS(ON)</sub>的内部同步整流器大幅降低了PWM模式下的传导损耗，且不需外加萧特基二极体于实际设计中。当PWM不能借由连续打开上侧P-MOSFET来提供调节的输出电压时，RT8092会进入low-dropout mode。当EN脚位变成低电位时，RT8092进入shutdown mode，消耗电流小于5μA。由于操作在固定频率3MHz，切换涟波可由较小封装的元件进行滤波设计。RT8092采用WL-CSP-15B 1.2x2 (BSC)和WQFN-14L 3.5x3.5封装。<br>为了延长电池的寿命，RT8092提供了I<sub>Q</sub> < 15μA的low power mode，适用于待机和轻载的应用。RT8092还提供了Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS)给低系统功耗的应用。<br>I<sup>2</sup>C介面让V<sub>OUT</sub>电压准位、峰电流限制准位元、PWM控制模式等选择更灵活可控。其他功能包含软启动、自动放电、低内部参考电压、过温保护和过电流保护。
