RT8110为适用于单一电源应用的单相同步降压转换器的定频PWM控制器，并内建MOSFET驱动设计，其特色为内建稳压调节器允许广输入电压范围应用与小封装规格。一组内建的预先调节调节器驱动一组外部BJT以提供调节电压予VCC电源，因此控制器可操作在广输入电压范围。RT8110 采用电压模式控制并具备内部补偿以简化转换器之设计。内部0.8V的参考电压允许低输出电压的应用，切换频率固定于400kHz以降低外部被动元件的大小并节省电路板面积。低端MOSFET的 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub>被用于过电流保护所需的电感电流感测应用。RT8110 提供低电压保护、电流限制、过电流保护与过温保护。
