RT8205A/B/C 是一款双通道开关模式降压控制器，用于电池供电系统中为逻辑电路部分提供电源供应。它包含了两组输出电压可是固定的 5V/3.3V 或在 2V~5.5V 之间调节的 PWM 控制器。一个替代 LGATE1 的输出 LG1_CP 可以用于外部电荷泵电路（RT8205B ），可选的外部电荷泵电路可用 SECFB 端子进行监测。两组固定电压（5V/3.3V）的线性稳压器也包含其中，每个线性稳压器可以提供 70mA 输出电流，并可自动切换到 PWM 控制器的输出以提高效率。RT8205A/B/C 包含内置的上电时序管理能力、电源正常状态输出和内置软起动电路，还有内置输出软放电功能可以避免关机期间的负电压问题。它所使用的固定导通时间（ COT ）模式下的 PWM 控制逻辑无需使用电流检测电阻，在负载发生瞬态变化时具有 100ns 的回应速度，同时还能维持基本固定的开关切换工作频率。独特的超声模式将开关切换工作频率维持在 25kHz 以上，为音讯应用消除了杂讯。此外，它还具有二极体模拟模式（ DEM ），这使它在轻负载条件下的效率能够最大化，而固定频率的 PWM 模式则可降低敏感应用中的射频干扰。
