RT8205L/M 是一款双通道开关模式降压控制器，用于电池供电系统中为逻辑电路部分提供电源供应。它包含了两组输出电压可在 2V~5.5V 调节的 PWM 控制器和两组固定电压（5V/3.3V）的线性稳压器。每个线性稳压器可以提供 100mA 输出电流，并可自动切换到 PWM 控制器的输出以提高效率。可选的外部电荷泵电路可通过 SECFB 进行监控（仅限于 RT8205M ）。RT8205L/M 包含内置的上电时序管理能力、电源正常状态输出和内置软起动电路，还有内置输出软放电功能可以避免关机期间的负电压问题。它所使用的固定导通时间（ COT ）模式下的 PWM 控制逻辑无需使用电流检测电阻，在负载发生瞬态变化时具有 100ns 的回应速度，同时还能维持基本固定的开关切换工作频率。为了消除音讯应用中的杂讯，它还包含了超声工作模式，总是将开关切换工作频率维持在 25kHz 以上。此外，它还具有二极体模拟模式，这使它在轻负载条件下的效率能够最大化。RT8205L/M 的封装是 WQFN-24L 4x4。
