RT8296B是一个高效率，单片同步降压型DC / DC转换器，在4.5V至23V的输入电源下可提供高达3A的输出电流。RT8296B的电流模式架构和外部补偿使得在很宽范围的负载及输出电容中，都可得到最佳的瞬态响应。逐周期电流限制保护元件不受输出短路影响，软启动功能可在启动过程中防止了输入电流过冲。故障保护包括输出欠压保护和过温保护。低电流(<3μA)消耗之电源关闭模式会将输出关闭，有助于电池供电系统的电源管理。RT8296B提供SOP- 8 (裸露焊盘)封装。
