RT8298A为具有内部集成高端功率MOSFET与对低端外部功率MOSFET闸极驱动电路的同步驱动降压型 DC/DC 转换器，在4.5V至24V输入范围内输出电流可高达6A。RT8298A的电流模式架构允许操作在宽输入电压与负载范围保有良好的暂态回应。逐周期形式的限流机制可在输出短路时提供电路保护作用，缓启动机制则可消除启动瞬间的输入电流涌浪的问题。RT8298A可借由外部的频率讯号进行频率范围300kHz至1.5MHz的同步化操作。RT8298A提供SOP-8 (裸露焊盘)封装。
