RT8560 是 60V、4通道 LED 驱动器，每个通道可输出 30mA 电流，每个通道可以串联15只 LED （以每只 LED 正向电压为 3.6V 计），总共可以驱动 60 只 LED 。RT8560 采用了电流模式的 Boost 转换器，其工作频率为 1MHz，输入电压范围为 7V~40V，片上开关电流上限为 1.5A。其 PWM 控制回路选择具有最大正向电压的 LED 串所连接的 LED 端子电压作为输出电压的回馈控制端并将其稳定在 0.9V，以此适应不同 LED 串之间的电压偏差。RT8560 自动对 LED 串的连接和开路、断路状况进行检测，并将开路通道排除在控制回路之外，避免出现输出过压的状况。所有 LED 串之间的电流不一致性误差在 3% 以内，实际电流可用一只电阻进行简单的设置。RT8560 支援类比和数位式的 PWM 调光方法。类比调光方法是线性控制的，使用外部电压即可控制实现。借助片内的输出幅度受限的放大器和 200kΩ电阻，外加一只电容即可形成低通滤波器，PWM 信号经此电路处理以后即可成为类比信号，从而实现无杂讯的 PWM 调光。纯粹的 PWM 调光方法具有很高的对比度，这可通过对 EN 端施加 PWM 信号或是直接用 PWM 信号驱动 ACTL 端实现。RT8560 具有很多保护功能，其中有可程式设计的输出电压过压保护、LED 电流限制、PWM 开关电流限制和热关机保护。RT8560 的封装是 WQFN-20L 4x4 。
