RT8561A 是一款 40V、 8通道 LED 驱动器，能为每个通道最多10只串联的 WLED 提供多达 30mA 的电流，单一 IC 即可驱动达 80 只 LED。它拥有一个工作在 1MHz 频率的电流模式 Boost 转换器，V<sub>IN</sub> 输入电压范围宽达 6V~24V，集成了容许电流达 2.5A 的功率开关。它的自动调节电路容许各个 LED 串之间存在不同的电压，输出电压 PWM 调节回路会将各 LED 引脚的电压调整至最低 0.6V 以满足电流调整的需要。在工作期间， RT8561A 自动对每个 LED 串的未连接和/或开路状况进行检测并断开有问题的通道，避免出现可能的输出电压 V<sub>OUT</sub> 过压状况。误差范围在 1.5% 以内的各 LED 通道电流可以简单地通过一只电阻或是电流吸出方式进行设定。RT8561A 既支援类比调光，也支援数位控制的 PWM 调光。类比调光可由外部电压实现线性控制。借助内置的输出限幅放大器和 300kΩ 电阻， PWM 调光信号可以很容易地借助一只外加电容形成的低通滤波器转化为类比调光信号实现无闪烁的 PWM 调光。具有很高对比的纯数位式 PWM 调光可以通过在 PWM 引脚施加 PWM 信号予以实现。RT8561A 的保护特性包括可程式设计输出电压过压保护、 LED 电流限制、PWM 开关电流限制和过热关机功能。RT8561A 的封装是 WQFN-24L 4x4。
