RT8567 是一款高效率的白光 LED 驱动器，设计用于驱动一个 LED 阵列作为 LCD 屏的背光源。它包含一个电流模式 Boost 转换器，用于驱动多达6个并联连接的 LED 串，每串 LED 可以是多达12只 LED 的串联，与每串 LED 连接的电流源的吸入电流匹配误差在最大 ±2% 以内，确保各 LED 串之间的亮度一致性。为了给电流源吸入电流的操作预留足够的空间，Boost 控制器对各个回馈引脚中的最低电压进行监测并进行调节，同时确保得到一个最优的转换效率。RT8567 的输入电压范围宽达 2.7V~24V ，能够输出可调的 5mA~40mA 的 LED 电流，内部 250mΩ 、43V 的功率开关以电流控制模式提供逐周期过流保护。 RT8567 还集成了 PWM 调光功能以获得精确的 LED 电流控制，输入的 PWM 调光信号频率可在 200Hz~25kHz 之间，调光过程不会造成任何流过 LED 或电感的冲击电流。 RT8567 的开关切换工作频率在 500kHz~2MHz 之间可调，这提供了效率和元件尺寸选择上的灵活性。RT8567 可以很薄的 WQFN-20L 3x3 封装形式供货。
