RT8815A 是针对高性能图形处理器和电脑应用进行了优化的2/1相同步 Buck PWM 控制器，集成了固定导通时间（COT）PWM 控制器、包含自举二极体的两组 MOSFET 驱动器、通道间电流平衡电路和过压保护、欠压保护、电流限制、热关机等功能于 WQFN-32L 3x3 封装中。它采用了 R<sub>DS(ON)</sub> 电流检测技术，这被用于精确的通道间电流平衡中。电流限制则基于对电感电流的连续感知，使不同的电流取样方法分贝得到最佳的利用。它采用外部参考输入和 PWM-VID 动态输出电压控制技术，使其回馈电压得到调节并跟踪外部输入的参考电压。它还具有可调的开关切换工作频率、动态相数控制、内部软启动、Power Good 指示和使能功能。
