RT8816A 是一款 2/1 相同步降压 PWM 控制器，针对高效能绘图微处理器进行最佳化，并透过 PWM-VID 介面支援 nVidia OVR2 规范。此 IC 整合固定导通时间 (COT) PWM 控制器、两个具内部自举二极体的 MOSFET 驱动器，以及通道电流平衡与保护功能，包括过压保护 (OVP)、欠压保护 (UVP)、电流限制与热关断，所有功能皆整合于 WQFN-20L 3x3 封装中。</br>RT8816A 采用 RDS(ON) 电流感测技术进行电流限制，透过连续电感电流感测来实现，同时使用 RDS(ON) 电流感测进行精准的通道电流平衡。此电流取样方法充分利用各项技术的最佳优势。</br>RT8816A 的功能包括外部参考输入与 PWM-VID 动态输出电压控制，其中回授电压会被调节以追踪外部输入参考电压。其他功能包括可调式切换频率、动态相数控制、内部软启动、电源良好指示器与启用功能。建议接面温度范围为 -10°C 至 105°C。
